Baby Matte Satin Bodice Pink Dress with Tulle Skirt

This review is for another ballerina style baby dress but with more princess-like qualities. The classic baby ballerina dress, style J1273B, features simple and pretty design details that create a regal silhouette idyllic for your little bundle of joy that loves to be the center of attention! This dress is almost like a little sister to the matching classic girls ballerina dress, style J1047G. The only difference is that the baby's skirt is knee length in comparison to the girl's tea length skirt, and the baby skirt is also more full and voluminous. What truly grabs your attention is the neckline. The sweetheart neckline truly beautifies the smooth satin bodice paired with gathered straps and miniature rosettes and pearls on the front and back of the bodice. The amount of detail in the bodice is toned down due the eye-catching nature of the lovely sweetheart neckline. There are never enough dresses with beautiful sweetheart necklines so this one is a catch! As the eye follows down from the bodice, there is a pleated and gathered tulle waistband adorned with a central rosette and small, dainty little rosettes, beads and sequins all around. This waist band is the most decorated part of the entire dress and it's very pretty. The only missing design detail are the flowing ribbons that most of our baby dresses come with. The centered rosette on this dress is without the ribbons and although it still looks lovely, it sort of feels like the dress is missing that little something that finishes the waist and brings the eye down to the skirt. The lack of ribbons however is only just a minor detail that can easily be overlooked, forgotten about, or maybe you didn't even notice until you read this review! This skirt has three layers of non-stretch tulle laying over the front of the dress and opening out at the back. The hem is clean finished with a rolled hem and there are floating miniature rosettes, beads and sequins adorning the lower part of the skirt. The amount of beading is minimal, but the tulle as a fabric itself is really quite attention grabbing. Be sure to fluff and play with the tulle to give the skirt that extra volume! The back of the dress is finished with an invisible zipper enclosure and a satin bow. This bow is very clean and simple with its narrow width. We wish the bow could have been bigger in width and longer in length but it does fit the nature of this sophisticated ballerina flower girl dress. Despite the hardly noticeable missing design details, this is an elegant baby ballerina dress made for your mature little princess. Minimal in detail but attention-grabbing with its full tulle skirt and adorable sweetheart neckline, no other baby dress could be as sweet!
