This review is for a sophisticated and elegant dress, the lady lace flower girl dress, style J1057G. This dress wonderfully represents the A-line style cut and the entire dress is made of organza with a luxurious crystal sheen. Double spaghetti straps support the dress, leading to a faux-bandeau style top with a center rosebud applique. Flattering and majestic princess seam lines extend all the way from the neckline and down to the hem, accenting the center panel of the dress. The back of the dress features elastic at the opening of an invisible zipper. At the back of the dress you will notice that there is a seam signifying the cut of a bodice, leading to the skirt. The back of the bodice does not have the princess seams like the front.
The center panel of the dress is the main focus of this dress as it consists of an embroidered and scalloped opening with mini rosebuds. The entirety of the panel is decorated with intricate floral embroidery with shiny beads and sequins. This front area of the dress brings a beautiful charm as the embroidery and details down to the scalloped edge are reminiscent of old Spanish style wedding veils! This is a flower girl dress only fit for the very mature and chic little girl.
This flower girl dress style is available for girls sized 4 through 14. As it is a dress only available for girls, know that it is truly an exquisite style that just would not translate well for a baby! The colors available include burgundy, tosca blue, baby blue, lilac, pink, ivory, and white. The choice options of colors make this dress suitable for any event from a wedding to a formal party. Unfortunately, this flower girl dress does not have a waistband; the cut of the dress starts from the neckline all the way to the hem. However, this A-line cut is quite flattering as the bodice can be fitted to the body with the adjustable waist sashes in the back and the seams of the skirt swoop outward to create volume. I love that the dress is also accompanied by a matching organza scarf; an elegant accessory for an elegant dress. Once this dress is shipped to you, the organza may catch a couple wrinkles. The problem areas may include the lower half of the skirt near the hem and the rosebud applique at the neckline, which may have flattened. This can easily be fixed with a steamer or an iron on very low heat. Once pressed, this flower girl dress will look absolutely stunning! |
