This review is for the lady layers flower girl dress, style J1272G. This particular style is only made in girls sizes 4 through 14 and available in pink, tosca blue and baby blue. Made entirely of organza with a subtle crystal sheen, this A-line dress incorporates styles that are both elegant and charming by mixing a simple silhouette paired with fine details.
The top of this flower girl dress features double spaghetti shoulder straps which supports a simple bodice with flattering princess seams that extend down to the first layer of the skirt. The hem of the bodice features embroidered flowers accented with sparkling sequins and swirls and branches of shiny beads. The floral embroidered hem gives the illusion of a drop, diagonal waistband. Unfortunately, this beading can only be found on the front of the dress. The back of the bodice is clean, with elastic and an invisible zipper enclosure.
The skirt, also made with multiple layers of organza, start from the hem of the bodice and cascade diagonally, a uniquely beautiful design detail. Every layer of organza is clean finished with a rolled hem, and as a whole, the skirt looks similar to the petals of a flower. It's unfortunate that the layers do not continue to the back of the dress, but there are panels of fabric to give extra volume. To finish the look, there is an adjustable waist sash to tighten the waistline of the flower girl dress. To top things off a matching organza shawl is included! This is a lovely flower girl dress for the young girl that wants to look pretty and ethereal like a princess or a fairy! |
