This is a review of the lady princess flower girl dress, style 7902G. Made of sheer organza, the fabric is smooth to the touch, light weight, but holds shape well with a delicate sheen. Starting from the top, the neckline of this flower girl dress is decorated with a dainty line of beads, accenting the v-neck cut. The bodice of this dress has pleated organza which softly radiates from the left waist, branching out across the front. From this point at the left waist, layers and layers of diagonally cascading organza drape down all the way to the hem, creating a fantastic tea length skirt. Each layer of organza is hemmed tightly to create a soft ripple effect at the hem, like the gentle waves of the ocean. These hems are further adorned with more of the little beads on the alternating layers of the skirt. The overall effect from the pleated bodice and the layered skirt is very calming and lovely. It looks as if someone just took 10 yards of organza and wrapped it round and round to create a flattering A-line dress style!
This flower girl dress does not have a waistband, but there is an adjustable waist sashes at the back that can be tied into a bow. The sashes are narrow, but long, and can be tied into a small bow with long tails. Unfortunately, the back of the dress does not carry on with any of the pleating and layering on the back. One redeeming quality however, is that the back of the dress features the same v-neckline as the front, which looks very refined and elegant. To finish the look, a matching shawl is included.
