This review is for the magnificent pageant infant dress, style GG3262B. This is a very special dress; it is absolutely exquisite and detailed, available in so many colors, but best of all, this style is exclusively for babies! The size small is designated for babies 6-9 months, medium fits 9-12 months, large fits 12-18 months, and extra large fits 18-24 months. This magnificent pageant infant dress was designed with so many colors, one of which is sure to fit your baby's personality. The colors available include: pink, turquoise, lilac, ivory, white, coral, fuchsia, and yellow. It's quite fantastic getting to see how the colors translate the same design into different trends. A few of the dresses are sassy, some are classically elegant, some are even sweet.
This pageant infant dress is rather unique as it does not have a bodice attached to a skirt or a waistband. The dress is cut from shoulder to hem out of one piece of a sheer crystal organza. Princess seams extend from the armhole and down to the hem as well, creating new panels in the dress which in turn give additional swooping volume to the skirt. The bodice is of the classic, sleeveless style with a charming scoop neckline. The back of the bodice is outfitted with an invisible zipper enclosure at the center back as well as adjustable organza waist sashes which can be tied into a big, fancy bow.
The overall silhouette of this infant dress is simple and classic, which provides the perfect balance for the fantastic details. Instead of the regular hand-embroidered beads seen on most dresses, this magnificent pageant infant dress is decorated with caviar beading. Caviar beads are tiny plastic beads that are adhered directly onto the fabric. This adhesive technique, paired with the minuscule caviar beads, can produce the most wonderful effects on fabric. In this case, the caviar beads are paired with the slightest amount of glitter to produce radiating bursts of flora and leaves. Centered on the hip, a large flower bursts and spreads up and down the dress. Dainty leaves and small spots of caviar beads dance along the front of the dress as well as accenting the asymmetrically layered skirt. A delicate array of sequins give the dress that extra sparkle. Adorning the hip is a detachable organza flower pin with dangling ribbons. Unfortunately, the back of the dress is left plain without the beading or the asymmetrical hem. The good thing is that the front of the dress is so amazingly detailed and breathtaking that hardly anyone would notice. A crisp, light weight layer of crinoline is enclosed in the skirt, giving additional volume and beautifully presenting the A-line shape of the tea to ankle length dress. As if the beading wasn't enough, the most charming, matching headband is included. A sheer ruffle of crystal organza forms a stretch headband accented with an attached organza bow and a little floral applique with a pearl center. This is truly one of the most decadent and intricate infant dresses around! Whatever color you choose, this style is sure to turn heads. It's that magnificent!
