This review is for the organza flower girl dress, style GG3100. This lovely but lovely flower girl dress is available in red, burgundy, gold, ivory, silver, lavender, light blue, sage green, and pink! This dress is available for both babys and girls. Somehow, this dress manages to balance simple design with exquisite detail to create a fancy style that is versatile and wearable for many different types of events, formal or not! The availability of this dress in all the different colors makes it easier for you to choose one depending on the season; there are many pastels perfect for spring and there is a deep red, burgundy, or silver, perfect for winter. This flower girl dress is quite reminiscent of a ballerina style with its simple, sleeveless satin bodice. The tutu style organza skirt is a little bit fancier than the typical tulle found in the common ballerina style; it holds a smoother shape and the gathers are softer. The skirt is full and supported by a generous layer of crisp crinoline underneath falling knee length for baby sizes and tea length for girl sizes. To fancy up this simple flower girl dress is an adorable large, detachable flower pin complete with rosebuds, leaves, and flowing ribbons. The flower pin is a lovely finishing touch to the dress and it's definitely eye-catching! At the back there is an invisible zipper enclosure and an adjustable waist sash to beautify the back of the waist. I have always enjoyed classic and sophisticated clothes for little girls and this flower girl dress takes the cake! One small wish I have is that all the fancy detailing wasn't left up to the detachable flower pin. I do love the combination of the satin bodice and the crystal organza skirt, but if there was a defined sash waist band, I would definitely love this flower girl dress even more! However, I still enjoy the simple yet fancy look of this minimalistic dress made with beautiful fabrics! |
