For the sweet little joy of your life this pink baby girl dress with sequin and rose buds takes the cupcake! This baby dress is available in pink, white and ivory and comes in sizes S to XL. Made with a medium-weight satin bodice and a tulle, knee length skirt, this dress would be perfect for any formal event except for a summery outdoors event where the bodice may be too heavy for the heat. Starting off, this dress has a fantastically designed bodice constructed of smooth satin fabric with a faux-bolero style cut. Near the sleeves are these curved seams which could be seen as just a new type of princess seam but we see it as a brilliant "pretend" bolero. The bodice is decorated with the tiniest stitches of floral embroidery with swirling vines and loops, accented by shiny pink sequins. The back of the bodice as well as the simple cap sleeves are without the embroidery but it looks beautiful and intentional. The bodice does not lead to a waistband, but there is a satin bow and ribbon rosette attached to the front and center. This rosette may need a little loving care as it may flatten out when shipped in a box. The ends of the ribbon are freshly cut so be sure to keep a pair of scissors at hand to trim (not pull!) any frays. This baby dress' double-double layered tulle skirt is so adorable and one of our NancyAugust.com favorites. The hem of the baby dress is beautifully finished with a satin ribbon. The effect is quite breathtaking and definitely uncommon! You would think such a detail would be incorporated into other dress styles more often! Along the length of the skirt is a nice and even spread of hand-sewn rosettes, bead and sequins. The back of this dress however, does not get its share of hand sewn beading, but it's only a minor detail. With a large, adjustable satin bow and invisible zipper enclosure at the center back, this dress looks good all around!
