This review is for the very adorable flower girl dress with flower bodice, style LA572. This dress is available for both girls and babies in sizes 2 through 12 for girls and sizes small through extra large for babies. For an adorable dress style, only the most charming colors can be available. In this case, this dress comes in white, purple, ivory, black, brown, fuchsia, plum, turquoise and hopefully more later! A flower girl for any wedding needs a dress that is charming, beautiful, and embodies all the qualities of a flower girl and this dress does that! Made of a light weight taffeta fabric, this dress balances comfort, elegance, and above all, versatility. The light weight fabric paired with the arrangement of available colors makes this dress comfortable enough for a spring or summer wedding, and the classy nature of the taffeta also makes it appropriate for a fall or winter wedding. Starting off, this decadent flower bodice already makes this dress the epitome of a flower girl dress. The bodice is designed with a sophisticated boat neckline and dainty little gathered cap sleeves. All over the front of the bodice are delicate flowers creating a decadent little floral garden. These delightful little flowers are made from the same taffeta fabric and are securely sewn to the bodice with a glued on rhinestone center detail. These flowers are a charming design detail that bring out the youthful and cute qualities of a flower girl. We only wish there was more! The back of the bodice is simple and clean except for an invisible zipper enclosure at the center back. The skirt of this flower girl dress hangs at a natural tea length. Supported by crinoline, this full bubble skirt with pick-ups is voluminous and very elegant. The pick-ups in this skirt are tacked with more of those adorable taffeta flowers, further encompassing the idyllic flower girl themed dress. Unfortunately, the pick-ups only seem to gather along the lower half of the girls dress, and the flower details only accent the front pick-ups. However, the volume and the decadently gathered fabric, starting from the waist, create a full skirt that is no less than elegant! The dress is finished with an adjustable waist sash which ties into a bow in the back. The front and center of the sash, which truly finishes this look, features a bow detail with a taffeta floral center. If both a flower girl and baby were outfitted in the same style dress the wedding photos would be beautiful! |
