This review is for the Cinderella flower girl gown with bustled skirt, style LA555G. This elegant princess style gown is only available to girls as it runs in sizes 4 through 16. As any true princess should, this gown is only produced in the three most classic fairytale colors: white, ivory, and pink. For the young girl wanting to look like a graceful character straight out of her favorite fairytale book, this is the dress. Unlike many of our other princess style flower girl dresses, this is a gown, void of all the fussy organza, tulle, or fluff. This is a style for a real princess.
Starting off, the entire flower girl dress is made with a light weight taffeta which reflects light with a subtle sheen, giving off the illusion of a luxurious silk or satin fabric! The bodice resembles a faux corset style supported by spaghetti straps. The bandeau at the bust line is ruched with a sparkling rhinestone clip that helps create a subtle sweetheart neckline. The waist is beautifully tailored and form fitting to the body as it is made with three princess panels adorned with intricate, sparkling caviar beading and finishes at the natural waist. These waist panels are absolutely exquisite and flattering. Unfortunately, the caviar beaded waist panels are only found in the front. The back of the bodice is left plain except for the invisible zipper enclosure at the center back which is paired with elastic to help create a better fit. To make up for the lack of beading at the back, adjustable waist sashes are sewn into the waistline to be tied into a fancy bow, finishing the look of the flower girl gown.
Starting from the natural waist, the skirt flows over the hips and cascades down to the floor in a full, A-line silhouette. Supported by a layer of built-in crinoline that is enclosed in the lining of the dress, the skirt is as voluminous as a princess gown should be. All along the front and back of the skirt are gentle pick-ups and gathers that give the gown a more luxurious look. The skirt is quite something. The fullness paired with the amazing gathers makes this a dress far more majestic than any competing princess dresses. To further finish the dress, a matching taffeta shawl is included. This shawl can be used to cover the shoulders, to drape along your daughter's arms, or even as a lovely scarf. Perfect for a wedding, a Communion, or a princess-themed birthday party, there is no other flower girl dress that could be as wonderful, that's for sure! |
