This review is for the baby dress with flowers of fun, style BK114B. This style is available in bright and bubbly colors: ivory, pink, blue, orange, yellow, and white. This dress, made exclusively for babies, still maintains its adorable charm while bringing characteristics of fanciful elegance. The style runs in sizes small (0-6 months), medium (6-12 months), large (12-18 months), and extra large (18-24 months). The taffeta bodice of this baby dress is made with a dainty scoop neckline and little cap sleeves and the back of the bodice has an invisible zipper enclosure. The gathered satin waistband accentuates the waistline as it is adorned with a detachable flower pin. The beautiful flower pin has a shiny pearl center and radiates with tiny pearl beads and flowing ribbons. The waistband also converts into an adjustable waist sash at the back that can be tied into a cute and bouncy bow.
The natural tea-length skirt is made of smooth satin with a taffeta overlay. The silhouette is full and there is a generous layer of crinoline underneath surrounded by a silky lining to protect your little baby's legs. The entirety of the taffeta bodice and skirt of this dress is lavishly decorated with embroidery and sequin detailing; the bodice and the skirt on both the front of the back! Many other baby dress styles have lovely design details which only decorate the front of the dress, and in some cases, only the skirt. The fact that this dress is completely decorated makes this a rare and special find! In detail, the embroidery is of two different types of flowers in various sizes outlined with a luxurious gold thread. Swirling and reaching embroidered vines paired with sparkling sequins accent the bundles of flowers. In addition, there are random embroidered daisies that float along the entire dress bringing further elegance and whimsy. The hem of the taffeta skirt features a fashionable scalloped edge which is clean finished with firm and taut embroidery and accented with ribbons of sequins. To finish the look, included with this fancy baby dress is a matching satin stretch headband with a bow and detachable flower pin center, as well as a pair of satin bloomers. Bright and bold colors make this dress idyllic for a festive celebration during the warmth of the spring and summer months. Imagine this dress being worn anywhere ranging from a birthday, tea party, or wedding, this style is definitely appropriate and versatile. My only wish is that this dress was available in colors specifically for the fall and winter holiday seasons like plum or burgundy as the design is quite elegant and could support those rich colors well. Nevertheless, this is one of my favorite baby dresses; it is beautiful and perfect all around! |
